Harrogate KTA Presents

4th Great Britain International Poomsae Seminar with GM Ik Pil Kang

For very first time there will be 3 Seminars in Great Britain (London, Northern England & Scotland)

 

Spring Bank Holiday Poomsae seminars.

  • Saturday 26th May 2018 in, Northern England (Harrogate), England
  • Sunday 27th May 2018 in Scotland with support of Momentum & Vision Taekwondo Clubs
  • Bank Holiday Monday 28th May 2018 in London

Each day will include 2 sessions.

  • Morning 10:00 – 13:00 open to all grades
  • Afternoon 13:00 – 16:00 Black belt only

Note: every 60 minutes there will be a 5 minute break.

 

Cost:

  • One session £40
  • Two sessions £60

Note: Clubs with more than five students attending will be able to bring one instructor for free.

Sports Relief Demonstration at Hampsthwaite CofE Primary School

2018’s Sport Relief week (week beginning 19th March 2018) started with a Taekwondo demonstration at Hampsthwaite Church of England Primary School. Head Teacher Mr Phoenix invited Master Kambiz R.Ali to do a Taekwondo demonstration as part of their sport relief week.

Master Ali has 3 students who attend the school. They participated in the demonstration showing Poomsae pattens. Master Ali went through the basic techniques, how to punch and how to block, as well as some board breaking.

He even got the teachers involved, everybody enjoyed their time during the demonstration. Mr Phoenix thanked Master Ali for supporting sport relief week.

Master Ali said it was great to see all the children getting involved in sports such as Taekwondo and hopes to forge sponsor links with the Hampsthwaite school in the coming months by offering Taekwondo classes as an after school club.

K.R.Ali Taekwondo Academy would like to thank everyone who made the journey to Harrogate this weekend to watch, compete and judge the 2018 Mayor Cup Open Poomsae Championships. We would also like to specially thank the Mayor of Harrogate, the GB Para Taekwondo team, the KTA Silver Taekwondo Demonstration team, the Rossett Sports Centre management team and all the clubs who attended our competition, despite the harsh weather.

Below are a selection of photographs from the day, and a video of the Mayor’s speech. Final results will be announced soon.
