2017 World Taekwondo ChungDoKwon Gold medal for Harrogate

This is Kambiz reporting from South Korea.
I’m currently in South Korea and very honoured to be the representative for the Mayor of Harrogate, Cllr Anne Jones.
I have attended the 2017 World Taekwondo ChungDoKwon summer camp, held at the Korea National Sport University, and masters from all over the world trained under supervision of legendary Grandmaster Byeonghyun Shin.
On 23 July 2017, the Kukkiwon World Taekwondo Headquarters hosted the 2017 World Taekwondo ChungDoKwon Championships.
Team GB had two members, Harrogate Master Kambiz R.Ali and Master Gerry Reilly.
Both performances were great and they managed to win gold medals and became a champions.
What a great achievement for Team GB ChungDoKwon.

Master Ali’s Korea Visit – Week 1

Week beginning 17th July 2017, Master Ali set off to South Korea for 3 weeks. In the three weeks, he is set to visit the World Taekwondo Hanmadang, World Taekwondo Leaders Forum and International Instructor course class 2.

The first stop after arriving in Seoul was, with Mr Shin, to visit Harrogate Road.

After visiting Harrogate Road, Master Ali travelled to Icheon to have a meeting with the CEO of the International Police Martial Arts Federation.

Throughout the rest of the week Master Ali visited Dobong council chamber, Seoul and Pocheon City on behalf of the Mayor of Harrogate, Cllr Anne Jones.

Master Ali ended the week on a high note by winning Gold in the ChungDoKwon championships for Great Britain

Next week master ali will be at the international course at muju for 5 days
